Terms & conditions
Draft for review — updated for online booking and card billing. Approve the wording before going live.
1. General
Freedom Archery reserves the right of admission and may change these terms with notice to clients. "Session" includes private lessons, classes, workshops and events. Archery equipment may only be used on designated ranges.
2. Registration & indemnity
Every client completes online registration and accepts the indemnity before their first session. A parent or guardian registers and accepts the indemnity for archers under 18.
3. Memberships & payment
Monthly memberships are billed in advance on the 1st of each month by card through PayFast. A first month that starts mid-month is charged pro-rata. If a payment fails, you have 7 days to update your payment details, after which new bookings are paused until the account is paid up. Private lessons, introduction lessons and events are paid in full when booked.
4. Bookings
All classes and sessions must be booked in advance through your account. Classes have limited spaces and are allocated in the order they are booked.
5. Cancellation, rescheduling & notice
Classes can be cancelled or moved up to 24 hours before they start. Private sessions need 2 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule. No-shows and late cancellations are charged in full. Cancelling a membership requires one calendar month's notice, given in your account.
6. Range rules
Clients must follow range rules and coach instructions at all times. Open-access members may only shoot unsupervised once they meet the minimum requirements and must follow range safety rules without exception.
7. Weather
A session that is at least 50% complete counts as completed. Cold or wet weather is not dangerous and classes continue; sessions are cancelled for lightning or hail, and coaches will notify affected archers.
8. Disputes
Please raise any dispute in writing by email to venue management so it can be resolved.
